Chainsaw Man introduces many exciting new characters, and one of them is Power. But who exactly is Power Chainsaw Man and what’s her story? We’ll break it down for you.

“Chainsaw Man has gained a lot of excitement in the anime world in recent years, and its first season is nearly coming to a close, leaving fans feeling quite disappointed.”

Crunchyroll explains the story like this: “Denji is a young guy who lives with a Chainsaw Devil named Pochita. Because of the money his dad owed, Denji has a tough life, hunting devil corpses with Pochita to pay off the debt.”

But one day, Denji is betrayed and dies. Just as he’s fading away, he makes a deal with Pochita and comes back to life as ‘Chainsaw Man’ – a guy with a devil’s heart.”

Who is Power Chainsaw Man

Power used to be a Blood Devil and now she’s a Blood Fiend. She’s made to be a part of a team of devil hunters led by Makima. She teams up with Denji and they have to keep working for Public Safety, or else they could be in danger of getting killed.

If you found the beginning of that paragraph confusing, let me explain. A Blood Fiend, or simply a Fiend, is a type of devil that moves into a dead body to stay alive. In Power Chainsaw Man’s situation, she’s a Blood Devil who’s taken over a young woman’s body. She could blend in with people if it weren’t for her horns, fangs, and bold way of acting.

What’s Power Chainsaw Man’s personality

Power is the bold and outspoken member of the group in Chainsaw Man. Her devil side has made her look down on humans, even though she’s not much better. She’s full of herself, acts like a child, only thinks of herself, is untidy, and doesn’t take care of her hygiene – she hardly ever takes showers or cleans up. She expects others to tidy up after her or take the blame if she messes up.

But she’s also really entertaining to watch because her unrealistic view of herself creates many funny situations. She’s also exciting during fights because she often rushes into battle without much thought.

She loves violence and is sure she’ll come out on top. Power and Denji, who’s known as Chainsaw Man, get into many fights together, and their interactions are always interesting.

What can Power Chainsaw Man do

Usually, Fiends are a bit less strong than they were as devils, but Power is still quite strong, even in her new form.

Power has a bunch of extra benefits compared to regular human Devil Hunters. Some of these include being faster, having a better sense of smell, and the ability to heal quickly – if she drinks blood, she can recover from almost anything. Even if she were to die, she would come back in hell, so she’s kind of immortal.

Now, talking about her trickier powers, because Power is a Blood Fiend, she can turn her own blood into weapons. And not just that, she can give her blood to others to save them, and if she really tried hard, she could even control other people’s blood.

Similar to other Devil Hunters, Power can make agreements with both humans and demons. This lets them share their abilities with each other.

What is Power Chainsaw Man’s backstory?

Even though Power behaves annoyingly, she does have a softer side, which is revealed in the beginning episodes of the show. She cares a lot about her pet cat, Meowy.

Meowy was a cat that Power discovered while wandering in the woods. Even though Power usually craves blood and thought about eating Meowy at first, she grew fond of the cat, and they became friends.

But things changed when the Bat Devil captured Meowy and demanded that Power bring him a human to eat if she wanted the cat to be set free.

Because of this, Power initially turned against Denji and gave him to the Bat Devil. But the devil wanted to eat Meowy and Power too. Luckily, Denji transformed into Chainsaw Man and saved everyone, which made Power and Denji’s relationship better. Now, they, along with Meowy, share an apartment with Aki.
