On TikTok, the Nudge feature helps you tell your favourite creators that you want them to do a live video, so you can watch them right then and there.

When someone gives you a nudge, they can see your live updates. But, the feature is still being tested, so not everyone can use it right now.

It looks like they added this choice to make it easier for regular viewers and creators to connect and interact with just one simple click.

How to use Nudge on TikTok

If you want to nudge a specific creator, go to their profile and tap the little bell at the top-right of your screen.

Then, you’ll see the choice to adjust your Live Notification Settings, where you can find a button that lets you give a nudge to the TikToker.

If you don’t want to get nudged, you can turn off the feature by going to the Creators Tool and picking Nudge from the choices. There’s a button on the page that says “Allow viewers to nudge you,” and you can switch it on or off.
