David Glasser, the CEO of 101 Studios, also commented that the story of the Dutton family would carry on, starting from where Yellowstone concludes and embarking on another grand adventure. He expressed his excitement about bringing this new journey to viewers all across the globe.
According to reports, the cast and crew of Yellowstone Season 5 Part 2 have yet to be informed about when production will begin. Even Wes Bentley, in an interview with Gold Derby, mentioned that he doesn’t have any information to share because he himself is unaware.
He added that even if he did have any details, he might choose not to disclose them. He finds it enjoyable to see the audience’s reaction, especially since it all stems from the unexpected nature of the show.

He explained that if he believes it will take 10 episodes to conclude the story, they will provide him with 10 episodes. The season will be as long as necessary to wrap up the narrative properly.
As for the possible airing dates of those episodes, Paramount+ initially stated that the series would conclude in November. However, it seems more and more improbable as time goes on.
Due to the complications with Costner, the producers have been unable to set a schedule for filming the actor’s final scenes. However, in the same interview, Taylor Sheridan clarifies that the long negotiations will not affect the ultimate fate of John Dutton’s character.
Due to the ongoing writer’s strike, the scripts for the show cannot be worked on at the moment. The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Taylor Sheridan is currently not actively working on the scripts, indicating a pause in the writing process.
