The internet is an amazing thing. We often think of it as being the same as Google, which is a very popular search engine. If you want to know something, Google can find the answer for you. However, there are some things you are better off not knowing about.

Some words, things, and ideas are so gross, scary, and sickening that you might need a break from the internet after seeing them. So, here is a list of 10 things you should avoid searching for on Google.

Do not search for “Blue Waffle,” “Lemon Party,” and some other things

Some words are causing problems on the internet, but not in a good way. If you look them up, you might see some unpleasant stuff.

Lemon Party

“Party” usually means having fun with friends, but in this case, it is a bad thing. Lemon Party was a website with videos of three old men doing private things. People might joke and say, “Just search ‘lemon party’,” but be careful. You will only find videos of naked old men.

What you would think: Pictures of a happy, fruity party with lemon drinks and maybe some Starburst candy.
Reality: It is photos of old naked men doing weird things.

Blue Waffle

It is not a real disease. Some say it turns a woman’s private parts blue and weird-looking. They blame it on not being clean and having too much s*x.

What you would think: Maybe a blog post about making a yummy breakfast with blue waffles for the Fourth of July.
Reality: It is a picture of a not-so-nice infection in a private area.

Jigger Fleas

Jiggers are tools for making drinks, but jigger fleas are bugs that get into your skin and lay eggs. They look yucky, so it is better not to search for them on the internet.

No Sleep

If you are trying to find a way to sleep better, “No Sleep” is the wrong place to look. Instead, you will end up on a website called Reddit, where they talk about scary stories. It might make you jumpy and scared of sudden movements.

Smoker’s Lungs

Searching for “smoker’s lung” shows you pictures of the lungs of people who have smoked a lot. It is really sad to see what smoking can do to your body. You will also see pictures of folks with lung cancer. It should make you want to quit smoking.

Finger Ring Injury

Ring avulsion happens when a ring on your finger gets stuck on something or is too tight, and it really hurts your finger. It can make you cringe to see a badly hurt, bleeding finger.

Rat Knot

If you like rats, you will not like this one. When you search for “Rat King,” you will not find a rat becoming a king. Instead, you will see pictures and videos of rats all tangled up, their tails stuck together, making a weird sight.

Worm in Mouth

“Oral myiasis” is a gross problem caused by fly larvae in the mouth. It is common in some poor countries, and it can be fixed, but do not look it up unless you want to see maggots in someone’s mouth.

Mr. Hands

A man named Kenneth Pinyan, who worked at Boeing, went by the name Mr. Hands. He recorded himself doing something weird with a horse. However, one time, things went wrong, and he got really hurt.

What you would think: Maybe a fan website for the Hamburger Helper mascot.
Reality: It is a bad video where a man gets hurt by a horse.

Hair in Bread

In some store-bought bread, they use something called L-cysteine. However, do you know what it is made from? Human hair that they pick up from hair salons. So, do not look it up on Google.

Google is a helpful website, but sometimes, the things you find there can be yucky. They say, “Curiosity killed the cat,” so maybe it is best not to search for these things we talked about.

So, here is a warning for you. Do not search for these things on Google if you do not want to see something shocking, dirty, or too detailed:

Goatse

What you would think: With “Goat” in the name, maybe a cute video of a goat and a horse being pals.
Reality: It is a picture of a man doing something private.

Fournier

What you would think: Pictures of a basketball player named Evan Fournier.
Reality: It is about a really bad, body-eating sickness with yucky pictures. Evan got called “Evan Do not Google” because of it.
