Many people know that Bob Saget was a famous comedian and actor in Hollywood. Because he was so famous, it is a good idea for us to find out about his youngest daughter, Jennifer Belle Saget. Let us see what we know about her.

Bob Saget, who died in early 2022, was thought of as one of the best comedians ever. He became really famous on TV, like in “Full House” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

Most people knew about his Hollywood career, but not many knew about his personal life. Some did not know that Bob had a daughter from a past relationship named Jennifer Belle Saget.

  • Jennifer Belle’s parents separated when she was 5. Sherri and Bob also have two other kids: daughters Lara Melanie, who were born on October 16, 1989 and February 15, 1987, respectively.

Jennifer Belle grew up in a nice family, even though her parents got divorced a long time ago. She has some relatives like her grandpa and grandma on her dad’s side, Rosalyn and Benjamin Saget.

Jennifer Belle also had an aunt named Gay, who was Bob’s sister. Unfortunately, Gay passed away in 1994 at the age of 47 because of a disease called systemic scleroderma, which affects the skin and organs.

When Jennifer Belle was just two years old, her aunt Gay passed away. In memory of Gay, Bob started doing good things like helping others and supporting efforts to treat systemic scleroderma, the disease Gay had.

In addition to his efforts to help others, Bob directed a TV movie called “For Hope” in 1996, which was shown on ABC. This movie was based on something that happened to his own family. In an essay he wrote for the Today show in 2016, Bob said:

Bob used his comedy to raise money. He organized a funny show to get funds for the charity he started. Many of his comedian friends, like the late Robin Williams, supported his cause.

After Jennifer’s aunt Gay passed away, her grandpa Benjamin also died on February 4, 2007. He had worked as a high-up boss at a grocery store company for more than 20 years. Benjamin’s death was because of problems with his heart.

Marriages of Bob Saget

Bob was not only famous for his acting but also for his strong desire to help others. Many people loved him for his role in the TV show “Full House”, where he played Danny Tanner, a dad raising his daughters, acted by Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate.

In real life, Bob was a dad to three kids, just like his character on the show. His real daughters sometimes felt a little jealous of his on-screen kids. However, Bob always made it clear that his real daughters were the most important people in his life. He said:

Bob loved his kids just as much as he loved Sherri, his high school sweetheart. Even after they got divorced, Sherri and Bob stayed close.

Sherri used to have a license to practice law in California, but she has not used it for many years. Now, she works as a therapist for families and married couples, writes scripts, and writes books.

After Bob and his first wife divorced, he found love again. In October 2018, the comedian married Kelly Rizzo, his second wife. They decided not to have more children together.

Kelly is a blogger who writes about food and travel. She got really close to Bob’s three kids. Bob said that the connection between Kelly and his daughters was like magic.

Even though Bob did not plan to have more kids, he thought he might become a grandpa in the future because one of his daughters was in a relationship.

During their marriage, the couple shared their romantic moments, travels, and quiet life at home with their fans on social media. In 2020, during the pandemic, Kelly was thankful for Bob’s support as a husband.

Kelly was deeply in love with Bob. She said in an earlier interview that she had never met anyone like the actor from “Madagascar.” She thought her husband was a wonderful man.

Kelly also mentioned that she never had a boring moment with the actor from “New York Minute.” She proudly said that all close friends of Bob were just as funny and special as he was.

Jennifer Belle Saget’s father death

It was a big shock for fans when Bob passed away suddenly at the Ritz Carlton in his hotel room in Orlando in January 2022. He was found in his bed by a hotel security guard who went to check on him because he had not checked out.

Investigators did not find any signs of a fight or bad actions, and there was no evidence that anyone else had been in Bob’s room while he was there. They also did not find any poisons or illegal drugs in his body.

The hotel staff who had met Bob during his stay did not notice anything unusual about him. Other employees described the famous comedian as someone who was friendly and outgoing.

Bob was travelling for his “I Do not Do Negative Comedy Tour” when he passed away. He had said that he was grateful for the warm welcome he got from the audience at the Ponte Vedra Beach resort in Orlando near Jacksonville.

The medical examination showed that Bob’s death was because he accidentally hit his head, probably from falling backwards.

They buried Bob’s body next to his mom, dad, and sister at Mortuaries and Mount Sinai Memorial Parks. People honoured Bob’s memory by giving money to the Scleroderma Research Foundation, which is a charity he started and helped lead as part of the board.

Bob made a big impact in the entertainment world, especially in comedy. He was part of another successful show called “How I Met Your Mother (HIMYM),” in addition to “Full House.”

In “HIMYM,” he told the story as Ted Mosby’s older version, who was played by Josh Radnor. Bob was the real host of the classic show “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”

Besides acting, Bob was really good at making films. He produced two successful ones: the documentary “Farce of the Penguins” in 2007 and the funny movie “Dirty Work” in 1998.

Bob was in the TV show “Surviving Suburbia” in 2009. He also came back as his famous character Danny Tanner, in “Fuller House” in 2016, where he was in 15 episodes.

John Stamos, Candace Cameron, and Jodie Sweetin were also in “Fuller House.” The main characters were Danny’s grandkids and daughters. This was Bob’s final big role in a comedy show.

Bob was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on May 17, 1956. He moved with his Jewish family to Norfolk, Virginia, and went to Temple Israel, a Jewish place of worship.

He later went to high school in Los Angeles and then moved back to Philadelphia for his last year of school. His English teacher told him to follow a career in acting and making movies instead of becoming a doctor, and he listened to that advice.

Bob went to college at the Center for the Cinematic Arts and Performing, which is connected to Temple University in Philadelphia. He finished his studies in 1978.

After college, Bob spent about ten years working as a comedian. He started getting small parts in movies and TV shows. He also did funny segments for a short non-fiction show called “The Morning Program,” but it was cancelled because not many people watched it.
