Viewers can watch live TV from as much as fifty content providers like CBS, Fox, ABC and NBC. Some regional sports networks have been added too in the channel list. YouTube says with the help of cloud DVR viewers can record unlimited programs and the recording will stay up for a maximum period of nine months.
Up to six people can create accounts with their own virtual DVR and the program recommendations will be based on the viewing habits. However, only three family members can use the service at a time.

Programs from Viacom including that of MTV and Comedy Central are missing on YouTube TV. Similarly viewers will not get Time Warner’s CNN, HBO, TNT and Cartoon Network along with Scripps Networks Interactive’s HGTV and Food Network, and Discovery Communications as well.
