Review: Majestic app – great SEO tool

Majestic app is for webmasters. It is a search engine optimization tool similar to LinkResearchTools and DeepCrawl. The primary reason to buy the app is its capability of backlink tracking. As backlinks are incoming hyperlinks from one site to another, the Majestic app should be an important app to install for content marketers.

Even though the Majestic web crawling engine has been in existence since 2004, the newly launched app is sure to add more to its success story.

Until now Majestic has crawled more than 1.3 trillion unique URLs and transforms data into usable SEO metrics.

Majestic app is not free. Its plan starts at $49.99 per month. It is perfect for light users and domainers. The next level plan is tagged at monthly bill of $79.99.

There are other plans too:

Pro – The pro version is priced tagged at $99.99 per month, if billed quarterly. For month-to-month billing system the cost will rise to $149.99. Subscribers of the service gets 20 million analysis units with the package, Flow Metrics history, custom reports, Historic Index access, backlink history, site comparison, email alerts, full business profiles, campaign sharing, Clique Hunter tool access and a keyword checker.

Full API – The Full API version of Majestic app is tagged at $399.99 monthly subscription fee and five users can use it simultaneously. Subscribers get 100 million analysis units along with all the features of pro plan.

Full API L – It is tagged at $799.99 per month and facilitated to be used by up to 10 users simultaneously. It provides 300 million monthly analysis units. Needless to say, the functionality of pro and full API versions is offered too.

Full API XL – Priced at $1,599 per month and offered to be used by up to 20 users, the full API XL version provides 1 billion analysis units.

Full API XXL – This is the highest priced package of Majestic app and costs $2,999.99 per month for up to thirty users. It offers 3 billion analysis units to the subscribers.

User interface of Majestic app seems a bit crowded with a search bar on the top position to enter search phrase, URL or domain name. Five domains can be compared at a time and subscribers can understand failure or success of their respective websites with detailed tracking reports.

However, there are some drawbacks too. Majestic offers no keyboard difficulty rankings and management. Even no CPC/PPC metrics are provided.
