Earlier this year it was reported Apple may launch a complete new design of 16-inch MacBook Pro. Later it was speculated the release date may be pushed back to 2020 or even 2021. But recent rumor rubbishes previous information adding that it will be surely shipped this year.

It is learned through way of London-based market analysts at IHS Markit the iDevice giant has fast-forwarded preparation process of the 16-inch MacBook Pro to reveal it at its September event.

IHS Markit Associate Director of Consumer Electronics Jeff Lin said, “We foresee that Apple will release a new product [at the] Sep’19 Apple event if there’s no unexpected development issue.”

The Cupertino company could equip the machine with OLED display and it could be a 16-inch TFT-LCD oxide display sourced from LG equipped with 3072×1920 resolution.

However, it cannot be guaranteed to which level the information from IHS Markit would turn true. In the past too the British analytics had several claims for Apple and iProducts.

IHS Markit believes by 2020 a foldable Microsoft Surface equipped with Android app compatibility could be launched.
